Miss X piensa en la primavera y el verano.

Nuevos shows comienzan a confirmarse para el verano de 2009. Miss X ya tiene cerrada su actuación en el Festival Rockejat, que se celebrará en la localidad valenciana de Torrent, donde compartirá cartel con Vetusta Morla y con otras dos bandas aun por confirmar. Este festival tendrá lugar el día 19 de julio. Próximamente más detalles.

Miss X thinks on spring and summer.

New shows confirmed for the start to the summer of 2009. Miss X has already closed its performance in the Rockejat Festival to be held in the Torrent next to Valencia, which shares the stage with Vetusta Morla and two other bands still to be confirmed. Miss X finaliza su gira de invierno.

La gira de presentación de Miss X por las principales ciudades españolas terminó el pasado 5 de febrero en Madrid. Tras visitar la 2 de Apolo de Barcelona, y actuar ante más de 500 personas en el Hilton de Valencia, Miss X ya se preparan para sus siguientes shows con la vista puesta en la próxima primavera y verano.

Miss X has finished winter tour.

The tour of Miss X, through the main Spanish cities over the past 5 February in Madrid. After visiting the Apolo in Barcelona and play with over 500 people at the Hilton Valencia, Miss X was already preparing for their next show with one eye on next spring and summer.

Éxito total en el Hilton Valencia.

Miss X fueron profetas en su tierra y ofrecieron una espectacular fiesta en uno de los salones del Hilton. Un show integral que giró en torno a la música de Miss X, con la participación de VJ´s y varios DJ´s que hicieron del Hilton una pista de baile a la que acudieron más de 500 personas.

Miss X was a prophet in his own land and offered a spectacular party at one of the rooms of the Hilton. An integral show that revolved around the music of Miss X, with the participation of several DJ´s and VJ´s who made the Hilton a dance attended by over 500 people.

El primer álbum de Miss X,de nombre homónimo estará disponible en las tiendas de discos a partir del 22 de octubre.Pero para aquellos que no puedan esperar hasta ese día, podrán descargárselo de la plataforma digital iTunes. Señorita Incógnita es lo primero que viene a la mente cuando piensas
en Miss X. Pero ni de señoritas de pasarela, ni de resolver una ecuación se trata, pues lo que ofrecen: Joseman, Soni y Jorge Pastrana no es una formación al uso, van más allá. A modo de colectivo y vinculados al mundo
de la fotografía, realización de videoclips y composiciones musicales para publicidad, Miss X deciden por fin tomar las riendas de este, su propio proyecto artístico. Para su álbum de debut se desmarcan de los métodos convencionales
y presentan un CD con 9 cortes originales, dos bonus track con dos remezclas
y alguna que otra sorpresa más.

Siempre con la mirada puesta en las pistas de baile, acompañan el lanzamiento de su debut con un EP de 8 cortes en formato Vinilo, para ser pinchado en cualquier club del mundo, Miss X ha contado con colaboraciones como las de "Uge Ortiz" A.K.A. "Blade Solo Runner" o "AZ Rotator " gurú del experimental en nuestro pais, remezclando "Don´t stop me". Y dándole un cariz mas electro
y ácido que el de la versión original, Mendetz , revelación con su álbum de debut en 2007 gracias a sus sonidos casiopunk, se han sumado a este proyecto para colaborar y unir las dos visiones de la electrónica en "Up to you".En el vinilo encontramos otra remezcla no incluida en el cd del tema "NYC" producida por "Sideshow" A.K.A. " Fink" artista del sello Inglés " Ninja Tune ", un versátil artista que ha compuesto temas para Coldcut entre otros. Y como no podía ser menos, cabe mencionar la remezcla que Miss X ha producido del clásico "Ring my Bell" de Anita Ward donde abundan los sonidos más Electrohouse del disco.

El primer single del álbum "Away with nothing", muestra parte de su gran influencia, el Glam, el Rock y la electrónica mas épica, en "Up to You",
plasman el eclecticismo de la banda, por un lado las reminiscencias más industriales que se acercan a Peter Murphy y donde Mendetz presta
su colaboración para dar una visión más funky y recrear un ambiente de baile con un abanico más amplio de influencias.Y otra muestra de la versatilidad de Miss X la encontramos en "La Plus grande Fete", un corte en francés, y que los más atrevidos llamarían "rompepistas" con notas autobiográficas cuentan una fiesta en Paris (y verdaderamente se nota la fiesta).

Miss X han encerrado sus temas en dos formatos diferentes para que gente como tú pulse el play o coloque la aguja en el surco para sacar una y otra vez sin descanso las canciones a la luz. Música electrónica de baile con todo tipo de influencias y de lugares, desde su Valencia natal, hasta New York sin olvidarse de París, Berlín, >Buenos Aires, Detroit o Bristol. Este es el primer paso para ofrecer a las pistas de baile todo aquello que se merecen, allí donde la electrónica, el glam y el rock confluyen y se unen para dar rienda suelta a la diversión, allí siempre estarán Miss X.

When thinking about Miss X, the first thing that comes to mind is, are we trying
to solve an equation or talking about a catwalk model called Lady Incognito? However, what Joseman, Soni and Jorge Pastrana are offering goes beyond that. United by their photographic work, video producing and the composition of music for advertising, Miss x decided to take the lead of their own artistic project.
For their debut album, they have overrun conventional methods and are presenting a CD with 9 original cuts, 2 bonus tracks with a couple of remixes
and one or two surprises. With their eyes fixed heavily on dance floors the launching of their first album is accompanied by an EP with 8 cuts in record format, perfect for DJing on the hottest dance floors throughout the world.

The album has featured collaborations with various artists such as
"Uge Ortíz" A.K.A. "Blade Solo Runner"or "AZ Rotator", Spain´s experimental guru who has helped remix "Don´t stop me", giving the track a touch more
of electro acid sounds than the original.
The 2007´s album revelation Mendetz , with their casio punk sound have also brought in their energy to this project, contributing and exchanging different views of electronic music in "Up to you". On the record you can find a different remix of "NYC", track produced by "Sideshow" A.K.A. " Fink ", a versatile producer from English record label," Ninja Tune " who has composed stuff for Cold cut amongst others. Last but not least, must mention the remix Miss X has produced from Anita Ward´s classic hit "Ring my bell" where we may find the greatest range of electro house sounds in the album.

The first single "Away with nothing" shows huge influences from glam, rock and epic electronic. In "up to you" we are able to see the band´s eclecticism recalling industrial sounds approaching Peter Murphy with Mendetz´s contribution, giving us a more funky dance orientated recreation with a wider range of possible influences. Another sample of their great versatility is found in "La plus Grande Fete", track in French with an autobiographic note to it, that tells us about a party in Paris, where you can definitely feel the vibe. Miss X has produced two different formats of the album so that all you people can just either press play or track a needle down on to the record, bringing their music out into broad daylight each time. This is hot electronic dance music, packed with many influences and places such as Valencia, their hometown, or even New York, without forgetting Paris, Berlin, Buenos Aires, Detroit or Bristol. Here is the very first step to giving the clubscene what it really deserves. Miss X will always be where electronic, glam and rock combine into one to have a real good time.

After many years of DJing and having worked in many different artistic fields, such as photography or video clip producing, they decided to compose and make their own tracks, ones they would have loved to have mixed themselves. This is what Miss X is about. Their debut album is made up of 9 original cuts, two remixes and a few surprises.
